There are a lot of people who can give you step by step directions for organzing something… However, few teach you How To Organize. Sounds odd, doesn't it? Well, everyone's home, and their personal taste and style, is unique and those things really need to be taken into consideration if the person has any chance at maintaining a change. Not because that person is lazy or is too busy, but simply because how we organize things and places needs to reflect the type of people we are and what we want out of that thing/space.
For each of us, this is a different answer, and once we know that answer the rest really does fall into place. So how do you find your own answers? You make a Road Map, and it only takes a few minutes. Ironically, after you make this Road Map, you are not bound to a strict "how to" or step-by-step guide. You're now free to explore all sorts of possibilities and options! Not Just a Mental Switch Has anyone ever told you to… "Set your mind to it and just do it."? Doesn't that make it sound like you can turn that desire & knowledge on and off in your brain like a light switch? Just looking in to our minds and finding the right mental switch (among how many?) and then turning it on (exactly how is that done in a purely mental, non-physical way?) doesn't work for most of us. We need something real, something physical that we can get our hands on. A Road Map will guide you as you tackle any project in your home and office so that maintaining each one later is easier and actually enjoyable for you.
